Property Manager

Michele Stokan is a property manager who has specialized in residential management since 2002. She has an in-depth understanding of the Texas Property Code and all state and federal fair housing laws. Michele has handled evictions and court appeals and expertly manages the entire leasing and management process, from marketing a vacant home to turning it between tenants. She works well with vendors, tenants, owners, and other community partners. Michele is solution-driven and a creative problem solver.

Michele spends time with her family whenever possible and enjoys reading, travel, and continuing education.

Maintenance Coordinator

Maintenance needs are handled by David Turner, who has been coordinating real estate maintenance for more than three years. In addition to his experience in the property management field, David has spent time in the accounting field, home health industry, and staffing and scheduling. His ability to multi-task and stay focused on details ensures routine and emergency maintenance issues are handled efficiently and effectively at all our properties.

David’s degree is in fine arts, and he enjoys the outdoors, specifically hunting, fishing, and 4-wheeling.

Sales & Marketing

Juli Palmer-Norris joined the Trend team in 2007 as a receptionist and quickly learned everything there is to know about leasing and management. She earned her real estate license in 2010, and began working on the sales and marketing side with Trend. Juli is often the first point of contact for new investors interested in real estate opportunities or curious about professional property management,making her the face of Trend. Since becoming licensed, she has sold more than 130 properties, and leases between 50 and 60 homes every year.

Juli enjoys reading, swimming, and rescuing animals. She’s been married for 21 years and has two grown children.

Jason Zimmerman graduated from Howard Payne University in Texas and began investing in real estate in 1998. His professional experience includes working as a loan officer for eight years, and he’s a licensed real estate broker in Texas. Jason specializes in flipping homes, distressed note purchases, AirBNB/VRBO investing, investing with IRAs, new construction, rehabs, traditional finance, creative finance, commercial purchases, multi-family purchases, and college housing. He also brings a wealth of personal experience to Trend Property Management, as he owns 15 investment properties. He’s passionate about real estate and loves helping new investors.

Jason grew up in Minnesota, is married with four kids, and enjoys volunteering, fishing, and music.

Meet Jessica Schirmeister, our Furnished Home Designer & Manager, who brings her expertise in real estate and interior design to manage our short-term rental properties from start to finish.

Jessica oversees the entire process of listing a client’s house as a furnished home rental, from the initial decision to list to communicating with clients about their monthly statements. She is the driving force behind getting the property ready for guests, starting with going to the property and doing inventory, and then proceeding to the interior design and staging of the property for optimal marketing. Her keen eye for design and attention to detail ensure that each property looks inviting and welcoming to potential guests.

Jessica takes charge of all property marketing efforts on various sites, ensuring maximum visibility for our clients’ properties. She communicates with potential guests promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive guest experience that encourages repeat bookings. Her experience in real estate and staging homes gives her the right mindset when dealing with guests in their “home away from home”. She brings a friendly and hospitable approach to all interactions with guests, and her passion for creating the perfect experience shines through in every aspect of her work.

As a professional with vast experience in this industry, Jessica stays up-to-date on the latest trends and knows what people want in a short-term rental property. Her vast knowledge and experience make her an essential part of our team, and her contributions ensure that our clients receive the best possible service.
