Consistent Income

The first thing we’re looking for is verification that the applicant can afford rent. This means more than simply having a job. We’ll check employment, but we’re more interested in income. Do they earn enough to pay the rent on time every month? Best practices say that a tenant should earn at least three times the monthly rent. That’s a metric we use in our screening process, and we’ll ask for documentation that proves it.

When we have a Fort Worth tenant who earns enough to pay rent plus meet their other financial obligations, we know that rental payments will come in consistently and on-time. Our screening process includes a review of pay stubs or bank statements or tax records.     The platforms and software we use also gives us a competitive advantage when it comes to detecting discrepancies and potential fraud during the application process. An unqualified tenant may try to fabricate pay stubs. They may leave a friend’s phone number instead of their actual landlord’s phone number.

    We verify identity and we cross check the information provided on the application against the information we receive in our background and credit reports. Your property is safe.
